Downtime
There is little to no downtime required after a AlphaRet peel in Scottsdale. You may return to normal activities immediately after your treatment. We do, however, advise you to avoid strenuous exercise or swimming for 24 hours after treatment. Sunscreen with a SPF 30 or above is also recommended. Do not use retinoid or retinol for 5 days post-treatment. Do not use harsh exfoliating products that contain AHA or BHA for 5 days after your treatment. You should avoid facial waxing of the treated area for 48 hours post-treatment.
Duration of Results
You will see the results of this peel at their best 10 days after your treatment. Your skin will be noticeably smoother, with improved tone and texture.

How It Works
AlphaRet® peel
Your appointment will start with a thorough cleansing of your face before we apply the pre-peel solution. We then apply the AlphaRet peel to your face with gauze for a maximum of 3 minutes. Your peel is then removed and your skin cleaned with a post peel cleanse. We finish the treatment with the application of SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum and a rich moisturizer.
FAQs
Can I receive an AlphaRet chemical peel if I am pregnant?
Because of the ingredients used, this treatment is not advisable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Is AlphaRet a retinoid?
AlphaRet is a recent advancement in retinoid renewal. Unlike other retinol and retinoid products though, there is little-to-no irritation. It still delivers wrinkle-reducing benefits, just without all the irritation.
