Microneedling in Scottsdale is one of the most effective treatments to naturally restore younger-looking skin.
We use a handheld, FDA approved device, the SkinStylus®. The benefits include reducing the appearance of wrinkles, acne, scars, diminishing pore size, and to help treat sun damage, and improving texture and appearance of skin.
We conduct an initial consultation to develop a treatment plan specifically for you. During your consultation, we will address any questions or concerns you may have and go over your medical history. We offer complimentary consultations in our office and online through our virtual consultation tool.

Number of Sessions Needed
Many clients see improvements with just one treatment, however, maximum results are usually achieved by scheduling between two and three sessions, four weeks apart.
Deep wrinkles or scarring may require additional sessions.

Skin is often red immediately after microneedling and is to be expected. Redness usually fades fairly fast. However, the complete healing time will depend on your skin and the settings used during your treatment. Most patients heal within 24-48 hours.
Duration of Results
After your required treatment, results usually last 6 months to 1 year. We recommend yearly maintenance treatments to maintain results.
We offer a PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy as an enhancement to any microneedling procedure. PRP therapy stimulates collagen production, while nourishing your skin with your body’s natural growth component. We recommend PRP therapy as an addition, so your body uses its own platelets to speed up the healing process.
Many patients report a glow to their skin almost immediately after their treatment. However, microneedling really works by kick-starting collagen and elastin production in the skin, which can take a few days. Clients watch their skin improve day after day. The body’s healing process is slow but steady. You may continue to see better results for up to six months after the initial treatment.

How it works
We use a special device that creates “micro-injuries” in the skin. Microneedling stimulates the body’s natural healing process, which encourages the creation of fresh collagen, which helps renew your skin!
What should I know before my microneedling treatment?
Do not use topical agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin, such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics or acids 5 to 7 days prior to your treatment.
Do not take anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, Motrin, or Advil for at least 3 days prior to your microneedling session.
What will my skin look like after microneedling?
Immediately after your first appointment, you may look like you have a mild sunburn since your skin will still be noticeably flush from the treatment process. This is temporary and should fade over the first 24 to 48 hours. As your skin heals, you will notice a glow develop over several weeks.
