We can help create a more aesthetic profile. Inside Out Aesthetics offers Kybella in Scottsdale for treatment of unwanted fat under the chin resulting from weight gain, aging, or genetics.
How it works
Kybella® is an injectable treatment used to reduce submental fat underneath the chin. This treatment destroys fat cells and produces gradual results. We will customize the best possible treatment for you.
The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid.
Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
Are there side effects with Kybella?
The most common side effects of Kybella include swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area.
Should I stop taking any medications before my Kybella procedure?
Let us know all the medicines you take, including over-the-counter medications, vitamins and herbal supplements. We need to know if you take any medications that may prevent clotting of your blood, such as anti-platelet or anti-coagulant medicine.
Who should not receive Kybella?
You should not receive Kybella if you have an infection in the area that will be treated.
