Consultation Required
We always start with a consultation for any new patient before beginning a treatment plan. During your consultation, we will review your medical history, listen to your goals, and address any questions you have before determining your individual treatment plan. We offer complimentary consultations in our office and online through our virtual consultation tool.
Treatment Duration
15-30 minutes
Downtime
Initially, you may experience inflammation and redness in the area. Some clients experience red bumps (which will go away in 1-2 days). To speed up recovery, we recommend that clients be very gentle on the area for at least 2 days post-treatment. This means no tanning, exfoliants, heat, friction, lotions or anything that could irritate the area further.
Duration of Results
Waxing should last anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on your personal hair growth.
Results
Consistency is most important. With regular visits, your hair will grow back thinner and finer, which means better results and less discomfort during your treatment.
Conditions
If you want to get rid of unwanted hair, we can help.
Whether it’s the bikini line or facial hair, hair waxing in Scottsdale is a quick and easy way to temporarily get rid of hair.
How it works
We use a wax that adheres to the body. Once it’s semi dry, we gently but quickly remove the covering and pull the hair out from the follicle.
FAQ
Why should I get wax instead of shaving or laser?
When waxed consistently, hair grows back slower, finer and sparser. Shaving cuts your hair, it doesn’t remove your hair—so the quantity and thickness remain the same. Laser hair removal doesn't work for everyone, which makes waxing a great alternative.
Will My Hair Grow Back Thicker or Darker?
Your hair won’t grow back thicker and darker after waxing, just the opposite! Hair that is removed at the root grows back softer and finer.
Can I Get Waxed If I'm Taking Retin A, Renova, or Accutane?
These medications increase the rate at which your skin exfoliates so waxing might remove hair and skin. Please let your provider know immediately if you are on any medications. Also, be aware that chemical peels, laser, and micro-dermabrasion can also affect skin integrity.
