Many of our clients see improvements with one treatment session, however, maximum results are often achieved by scheduling 2 or 3 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Deep wrinkles or scarring may require additional sessions. We will advise you on the best treatment schedule for your individual needs.

Downtime
We recommend 7-10 days of recovery for our patients. Immediately following the peel, skin may look light yellow, red, or tan. The yellow color is because of the retinoic acid included in the formulation. It is temporary and will fade in minutes. We will provide all needed products, along with detailed instructions after your treatment.
Duration of Results
Results from a VI Peel can last for months, but this does not mean that skin is not susceptible to damage or the aging process. As the skin ages, cell turnover rates and collagen growth diminish, requiring more maintenance treatments

Is the VI Peel painful?
Those with sensitive skin may experience a slight tingling sensation, however, most patients find the treatment painless.
How many VI Peel treatments do I need?
Noticeable results can be seen after a single treatment, but we see best results after 3-6 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart. For maintenance treatments after the initial series, we recommend the VI Peel 1-4 times per year, depending on your skin's needs.
What to expect during your appointment?
Your aesthetician will thoroughly cleanse your skin before applying the first layer of the treatment. A few minutes later, another layer of the treatment is applied, and left on the skin for a minimum of five hours. The actual appointment will only take about 30 minutes.
